As a cloud-computing company, Salesforce understands that many people have work-from-home jobs. Its services allow other companies to track sales and contracts from anywhere. This is also reflected in its own job listings: There are currently about 150 remote work opportunities available across the country.
The jobs are available in a number of different fields including programming, management and engineering. Candidates can be located anywhere within the states that each job has listed. Here are some examples of what Salesforce is hiring for right now:
Strategic Account Manager based in Connecticut, New Jersey or New York.
Software Architect based in Massachusetts.
Lead Solution Engineer based in Ohio.
Regional Vice President, Sales based in Texas.
App Strategic Account Manager based in Kansas or Missouri.
Senior Project Manager based in Illinois, Michigan or New York.
Salesforce stresses the importance of their Ohana (Hawaiian for "family") culture. “When our founders started Salesforce, they were as intentional about the company culture they wanted to create as they were about the products they wanted to build and how they would go to market,” states the company’s career website. “They wanted to create a different kind of company.” Employees should display the core values of trust, growth, innovation, equality, customer success, transparency, giving back, well-being and fun.
But Salesforce doesn't just talk about family values. They are also apparent in the employee benefits. In addition to financial-planning and medical coverage, employees may take advantage of adoption, surrogacy and fertility benefits, perks that we all know aren't standard. The company even offers education reimbursement, mental-health counseling and travel assistance.
