Work-from-home gigs can be an ideal setup for working moms, but they aren’t easy to find. Global health service giant Cigna is making it easier: The company is currently looking to fill more than 100 work-from-home positions in locations across the country. Even better? The jobs offer full benefits.
If you don’t have experience in health care, don’t worry: While many of the opportunities require medical experience (Home Chronic Care Physician or a Nurse Case Manager, for example), there are many openings in a wide range of fields. Some of the listings include:
Data Scientist, based anywhere in the United States.
Technical Support Specialist, based in Windsor, CT.
Community Support Case Manager Specialist, based in Pittsburgh, PA.
Pharmacy Account Manager, based in California, Oregon or Washington.
Provider Data Reporting Specialist, based anywhere in the United States.
According to the company’s benefits page, Cigna provides:
— 401(k) Plan with up to 4.5% company match
— Supplemental Long-term Disability
— Group Universal Life
— Personal Accident Insurance
— Basic Life Insurance
— Life Coaching
— Paid Time Off
— Short-term and Long-term Disability
— Tuition reimbursement
Want to comb through the company’s job database? Go to Cigna’s advanced search job page and check “yes” under “Work from home opportunity.” You can also search for full-time or part-time jobs on the page, as well as narrow your search by job level, posting date and location.
If you don’t see a fit, but you’re interested in working from home, it may be a good idea to keep the page bookmarked: Cigna has over 39,000 employees, and 3,000 of them worked from home in 2014. Happy hunting!
