What We Love

Summer is a blast for kids whose moms work at this Cincinnati-based health-care organization, where on-site camps offer cooking, sports and science lessons when school’s out. Little ones ages 6 weeks to 5 years enjoy year-round access to a child-care center next to Bethesda North Hospital, which (like several other local centers) provides employee discounts. If children fall ill, moms can arrange to have caregivers stay home with them for just $2.50 per hour. Some moms may even be able to stay home themselves, since 75% of all nursing units offer self-scheduling and 15% of the staff are permitted to work as few or as many hours as they like. TriHealth has also begun offering pretax savings accounts preloaded with $1,200.
