We are big fans of mompreneur Rhonda Sparks, founder of UVSkinz.

What's her goal?  To help people of all ages avoid skin cancer by providing clothing and swimwear to prevent it.

I had the privilege of having my 2 year old son test the UVSkinz swimshirts.  Not only did it protect him from the harmful UV rays that we have here in the Mile High City, but he looked stylish at the pool as well.  In fact, the shirts are so fashionable, mom after mom continued to come over and ask where we bought them.

All you need to know - UVSkinz.com.

Are the products just for babies and kids?  No!  Rhonda has created a variety of products men and women as well.  Where did her passion for this product line and business come from?  Just after 9/11, she lost her 32-year old husband Darren to Malenoma.  It was diagnosed with malignant malenoma five years earlier.  Never in his wildest dreams did he ever think he could fall victim to such a disease.  Rhonda decided it was time we all became responsible for our bodies since skin cancer is 100% preventable if it's caught early.

As Rhonda's website states, "Protecting your skin during the first 18 years of life can reduce the risk of some types of skin cancer by up to 78%. Darren wants his children and ALL children to be safe from the dangers of the sun. But we must take action toward eradicating this disease. Educate yourself! Enjoy all that life has to offer under the sun but BE SUN SAFE!"
