Flurries flying? Gather the kids and get rolling with these tips from Jim Sysko, who holds the world record for building the tallest snowman:

  • Position your glacial guy in the shade so he's less likely to melt.
  • Use wet, warmer snow for construction.
  • Pack snow around the base to keep him stable; flatten the tops and bottoms of adjoining spheres so they don't roll off.
  • Add creative accessories so your snowman looks as cool as he is.
