It’s time to…
10. put away hats and coats and break out the new (old) clothes!
9. decorate clay flower pots for this year’s potted herb garden
8. work less, play more (preferably outdoors)
7. plan special summer family time, even if it’s a staycation
6. visit baby animals at the zoo and celebrate nature’s rebirth
5. buy at least one new pair of summer shoes now, while the trends are hot.
4. buy Girl Scout cookies (don’t forget to save one box of Thin Mints in the freezer, to be rediscovered only when it’s time to clean out your freezer around the holidays)
3. enjoy the extra few hours of daylight after work
2. clean patio furniture, replace smoke detector batteries, change your comforter and your clocks
1. reclaim some of the joy and freedom you felt as a kid when school let out for summer!
