Our 2017 Working Mother 100 Best Companies list includes plenty of employers with impressive benefits for moms. But 24 of the companies really stand out thanks to their incredible maternity leave policies that allow mothers to take over 15 fully paid weeks of leave after giving birth. Adobe Systems leads the entire list with a whopping 26 weeks of leave offered to moms at full pay.
It's worth noting that every single company on the list offers some form of paid maternity leave—as opposed to only 30 percent of workplaces nationwide. The average company on the 2017 Working Mother 100 Best Companies list offers 10 weeks of paid maternity leave.
Many of the companies also offer other forms of leave such as paid adoption leave, which is available at 98 percent of the companies, and paid paternity leave, available at 97 percent. Four companies even offer 16 weeks of fully paid leave to new dads.
Many companies on the list even have "phase-back" programs that allow moms to ease back into work after baby by working fewer hours than usual. These programs are available at 86 percent of the companies and are fully paid at 38 percent.
