Is it me, or does anyone else REALLY have a hard time figuring out what to feed a toddler? Especially one who is already a picky eater, if he decides he wants to eat at all?
My kiddo was born on the small side, coming in at a whopping 5 lbs, 8oz. He's never been a big eater, and to him eating seems like more of a chore than the joyous privilige it is (where he got this trait, I have NO clue). So figuring out good, nutritious, QUICK AND EASY, meals (I do work, so quick=good!) is difficult.
HIs meals are typically like this:
Breakfast: Oatmeal and juice or milk or
French Toast with real honey, juice or milk or
Soft, toddler sized waffles and honey, juice or milk or
Yo Baby yogurt and fruit (if he'll eat it), juice or milk
Lunch: Mac and cheese, j or m or
Canned ravioli, jor m, or
Anything his grandma who sits for him makes him (which could be anything from soup to who knows what)
Dinner: Chicken and rice/beans, j or m
Beef and rice/beans, j or m
Spaghetti, or other pasta dish, j or m
I know there are definitely some nutritional gaps here, so any moms with toddlers or moms wperiod who have tips, please help! Thanks!
