The kids may be off, but you’re not. To maintain a.m. sanity:

Plan ahead. Pre-organize your kids’ summer-day start times (camp, art class) so you’re covered and can still get to work on time.

Tap local help. Neighborhood teens looking to earn extra bucks can watch the kids before they get on the camp bus so you can leave for the office—or sneak in a run.

Get kid buy-in. Since their vacay isn’t also yours, kids should wake up at consistent times and do chores before heading out.
