The Gibbons Women’s Initiative’s mission is to gather professional women to network, mentor and express their commitment to the advancement of women in all professions. Since its start in 1997, the Initiative has grown into an organization with over 60 women within the firm actively working on its programs, and more than 2,000 invited women participants in total. In 2009, Gibbons became only the third law firm to ever receive the Catalyst Award. The firm has also earned WILEF Gold Standard Certification and has appeared on the Working Mother “Best Law Firms for Women” list every year since its inception.
