If you are a smoker of any capacity, listen up!
There is no question that smoking is bad for us, but if you care about your skin, smoking is one of the last things you should be doing. Smoke emits toxins that are extremely harmful for the skin. Pretty much every component of a cigarette contains something bad for the human body, but even worse, each time you are around smoke, your skin is affected. Think about it, any time you've met a long term smoker, they have had bad skin. Bad skin may be harsh to say, but let's just say that 99% of non-smokers will have a better skin composition than a smoker. Look at the Marlboro man, he has awful skin. Full of wrinkles and always dry - it's not appealing.
Luckily, there is a safer alternative to traditional cigarettes. I said "safer," not "safe." There is a big difference, of course. There really is nothing about smoking that is safe, but now that there are a whole variety of electronic cigarettes on the market, there is at least a safer route to take for people who have to get their nicotine fix.
How these work is quite complex - first off, a tube is used to inhale the "vapor." This tube is also called an "atomizer," or "vaporizer." This is the channel that all of the vaporized smoke sifts through when you take a puff. Basically, it vaporizes the nicotine and liqud inside the e-cigarette. This e-cig does NOT emit smoke, making it much safer and containing less toxins.
A popular brand of e-cigarette is called Green Smoke E-Cigarette. It's sold online for the most part, and can be bought in all states except New Jersey. There is also another brand called Blu Electronic Cigarette. The Blu brand is pretty cool because it actually has a blue tip that lights up, telling people that the smokeless cigarette is NOT a traditional cigarette, which would emit an orange flame.
If you are not familiar with this new concept, I urge you to read electronic cigarette review websites. You may just find a safer alternative for your habit.
