Tom Sondergeld is currently the Director on Health & Clinics, Human Resources at Hewitt Associates. Tom has directed employee benefits for over 15 years. He has a rich history in the healthcare marketplace having moved from bedside care as a Respiratory Therapist and into Operations, setting his future in Human Resources, specializing in employee benefits and wellness. In his current role Tom is responsible for the implementation and operations of their employee onsite clinic program (newly established) as well as their new Choose Health Wellness Program. He has the leader for U.S. Leave Administration, Worker’s Compensation, and Hewitt’s return to work strategy. Tom has spoken at many local and national events on topics ranging from benefit plan design and wellness integration. He is an active member of many HR groups with SHRM, HRMAC and SHRP among them and is also a member of the Benefits Board for World @ Work.
