Tara Favors is an Executive Director, Head of Leadership Development, at Morgan Stanley with responsibility for the Firm’s leadership programs, executive coaching and leadership content. She first joined Morgan Stanley in 2000 as an Associate, Junior Generalist supporting the Technology business.
Over seven years, Tara held various HR generalist roles supporting the Infrastructure businesses, such as Marketing, Corporate Services, Human Resources and Legal and Compliance. In 2007, Tara joined Revlon as a Senior Director, Human Resources. In 2008, she joined Deutsche Bank as a Vice President, Senior Generalist supporting the Asset Management business.
In 2011 Tara returned to Morgan Stanley. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Tara was hired into Merrill Lynch’s Human Resources Associate program, working in various business and disciplines of Human Resources across the Firm. She earned her BA from Syracuse University in Psychology, with a minor in Human Resources and her MS from the New School for Social Research in Human Resources. Tara serves on the Board of The Valerie Fund and is member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
She resides in South Orange, NJ with her husband, Dale and two sons.
