Sophia Chew currently serves as Vice President, Developers Relation Division for our Asia Region. In this role, she is responsible for business and talent development and retention to support the significant growth of software and services in the computing industry.

A 25-year Intel veteran, Sophia has held various management positions in Intel. Prior to assuming this role, Sophia was responsible for our global distribution and resellers business. In this role, she oversaw the growth of Intel's presence to more than 190 countries, managed 200,000 resellers and more than 300 distributors worldwide. Sophia was instrumental in establishing and building our business in emerging markets beginning from Asia to Latin America and Middle East. She has also held positions as Financial Controller and Channel Marketing Director. Sophia has worked in Hong Kong, Singapore and United States of America, spanning almost 8 years in each country. She has recently relocated to Shanghai, China where she is now based.

Sophia has spoken and taught as guest speaker at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. She was ranked the most interesting and convincing speaker in the last 4 years.

Sophia completed her undergraduate studies in accountancy at National University of Singapore and has done specific study at Kellogg's School of Management, Northwestern University.
