Simi Sanni Nwogugu is an executive coach and the founder & CEO of HOD Consulting, a diversity consulting firm that helps clients retain and advance multicultural women. She has over twelve years of finance and strategy consulting experience with various organizations including Goldman Sachs and MTV Networks. She has also successfully launched and led two organizations, including 2Hats Network LLC and Junior Achievement of Nigeria, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2009. Simi received her MBA from Harvard Business School, and a professional certificate in Organizational and Executive Coaching from New York University. She received her Bachelor’s degree with Honors from Mount Holyoke College, where she developed the passion for helping disadvantaged women and children. She is married with two young sons and divides her time between her two favorite cities in the world – New York City and Lagos, Nigeria. Simi is the subject of a Harvard Business School case study titled, Simi Nwogugu: Career and Life Transitions, has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal and Working Mother, and featured in several books including, More Than 85 Broads: Women Making Career Choices, Taking Risks and Defining Success – on Their Own Terms.
