Shelly McNamara is the VP-HR-Global Beauty & Grooming at Procter & Gamble.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Michigan in Organizational Behavior and her Master of Science degree in Organization Development from Case Western Reserve University.  Shelly joined P & G in 1985 as a Sales Representative in the Food Division, and has spent the last 20 years in HR.  She is currently the HR leader for Global Beauty & Grooming, a 40 billion dollar business.  Shelly has a deep passion for developing organizations and people, and a track record for helping them transform.

Shelly’s expertise is in strategic HR leadership, leading change, organization assessment/design/renewal, acquisition integration, transition management, strategic planning, and leadership/team development

Some of Shelly’s key achievements include transforming the Family Care Business Unit to deliver breakthrough results in diversity, talent, culture, and overall organization health. She has also led various aspects of key acquisitions and integrations including Noxell, Max Factor, Old Spice, Clairol, and Wella.  Shelly has played a key role in shaping the company’s approach to team effectiveness, diversity, and overall organization health (measurement and action planning)

Shelly was born in Cleveland, Ohio, as the youngest of 15 children.  She and her life partner Cindy, have three daughters; Ali is 14 and Kate & Nicole (twins) are 11.
