Global Diversity & Inclusion Operations Manager, Cargill

Roycie Earvin leads the global operations diversity and inclusion team at Cargill, Inc helping to design and implement scalable processes that will enable the team to achieve the firm diversity & inclusion goals. She is responsible for providing leadership in diversity development and retention including the design and integration of diversity in key development portfolio as well as management of diversity specific programs. Roycie will serve as a market intelligence expert and partner with key stakeholders to analyze business plans and needs in order to anticipate future trends. She will manage the diversity action plans and facilitate internal sharing and alignment of DAP structure and initiatives. In addition, she will provide input for and build on forecasting people requirements and skill competencies to support strategic objectives.

Roycie moved to Minneapolis in 2008 joining Ameriprise Financial as the Director of Diversity & Inclusion. In her role, she was responsible for the enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion strategy that impacted their corporate and Advisor offices. Roycie was responsible for developing the firms’ strategic plan and connected diversity & inclusion to revenue results. In addition, she was responsible for Advisor and corporate diversity recruiting efforts, 14 employee networks, minority high potential programs, Bank compliance as well as providing guidance on affirmative action goals. Her greatest achievement at Ameriprise Financial was a pilot program that generated over $20 million in assets under management in one quarter. Prior to her move to Minneapolis, she worked for May Department Stores Company / Macy’s where she held roles in Information Technology, Operations, Front-End Store Management, Research, and Training and Development.

Roycie currently serves on the Wisconsin University School of Business – Diversity Advisory Board, The Conference Board – Council of US Diversity & Inclusion and recently stepped down as the Twin Cities Human Resources Association – Board of Directors, VP Diversity & Inclusion. Roycie graduated with honors from Saint Louis University, where she earned a BA in Business Administration with a minor in Communications.
