Randal S. Milch is executive vice president and general counsel of Verizon. He leads the company’s legal, regulatory, state government affairs and security groups.

Milch previously served as senior vice president and general counsel of Verizon Business – Verizon’s global enterprise carrier – and of Verizon’s domestic telecom business.

Prior to his role with Verizon, Milch was a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Donovan Leisure Newton & Irvine. Milch's practice centered on complex federal litigation and international arbitration. Milch clerked for Clement F. Haynsworth, Jr., Chief Judge Emeritus of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Milch holds a J.D. from New York University Law School and a B.A. from Yale University.
