Peggy Walton is Senior Director of Workforce Readiness at Corporate Voices for Working Families where she leads research and documentation of scalable, business-led Learn and Earn talent development models that support the attainment of postsecondary credentials with labor market value.  She manages the Learn and Earn Business Leadership Team and the Corporate Voices Community College Advisory Board.  Ms. Walton has published and presented widely on leading employer practices in talent development.

Prior to joining Corporate Voices, Ms. Walton was Director of the National Center for the American Workforce at the National Association of Manufactures. Under her leadership, the Center advanced public and private investments and strategies to ensure an educated and prepared advanced manufacturing workforce. She led the Center’s efforts to build and deploy partnerships and initiatives to expand the talent pool for manufacturers, managing a national grassroots economic development initiative to recruit young talent to advanced manufacturing.
