Paul Rupert is President of Rupert & Company, premier flexibility consultancy to Fortune 1000 companies, professional service firms and major hospitals. He first applied flexible schedules in a major medical center start-up in 1972, increasing their use in a series of firms through 1985. Then he joined New Ways to Work to direct its national EquiFlex Project, the first corporate advocacy group promoting workplace flexibility. From 1992 to 2000, he founded and served as Practice Leader of WFD’s Flexibility Consulting and Training Practice, providing FWA services to dozens of leading companies. He founded his own firm in 2001, broadening its flexibility focus to: build senior leader engagement and long-term culture change; create a highly effective suite of online guidelines and training tools for FWAs; deliver Leading through Mutual Respect initiatives for leaders and managers; and pioneer the Managing through Cancer and Collaborating through Chronic Conditions programs, among others. Paul is a graduate of Stanford University.
