Patricia "Pat" Pearman

Director of healthymagination Disparity Programs and US Partnerships, General Electric

Patricia Pearman is responsible for the operational and strategic management and execution of GE’s healthymagination disparity programs.  She serves as the interface for internal stakeholders and external partners, customers, government officials and other key constituencies.

Pat, who is a 24yr GE veteran, transferred to GE Healthcare in Waukesha, WI in 2001 assuming the role of Benefits & Disability Program Manager. In November of 2002, Pat’s role was expanded to include Global Diversity & Employer of Choice Programs. Additionally she is a member of GE Healthcare Community Relations & Charitable Giving Board and involved in a number of community and civic organizations. Pat’s humanitarian work involves support of the Developing Health Globally Projects in the U.S., Africa, and Honduras & Cambodia.

In 2004 she launched GE Healthcare’s Disparity program focused on closing the gap in the quality and access of care for underserved populations across the U.S. The program framework includes the building of partnerships with government, non-for profits and minority healthcare organizations; innovative research collaborations and the design of culturally sensitive education & awareness community outreach programs.

In 2006 she received the NAACP Martin Luther King Drum Major award in recognition of her work in minority and poor communities; and in 2007 the GLBT Ally of the Year wards for her championing of Inclusiveness across GE.

Pat holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music & Special Education, and a MBA from the State University of New York. She is married and lives in Menomonee Falls, WI with her wonderful husband Jim. They’ve been blessed with two beautiful sons, William and James.
