MyHong NguyenPhu is the Director POWER Program Management. She is responsible for the IBM’s Power System hardware development, integration, product release and development field quality.

MyHong holds degrees in BS Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida and an Executive MBA from University of Texas. MyHong started with IBM in Boca Raton, Florida with IBM Workstation Division in 1984, and worked in Somers, New York prior to coming to Austin, Texas with the IBM Server Group in 1986. She has held various positions in IBM Development and program management organizations.

MyHong and her husband, Mike Bui, reside in Austin, Texas and have three children; Taylor, Jenny and Nicholas. Myhong is highly committed to her family and her children’s activities, including soccer, dance, tennis, cross country and swim. MyHong is an active volunteer in Girl Scouts and school events. MyHong is an avid runner and her passion for running has led her to five marathons to date and her ultimate goal is to run the NY City Marathon.
