Michelle Miller is Vice President/Senior Counsel, Employment Law and Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at Medtronic, Inc. In that capacity, she is responsible for Employment and Immigration Law, Office of Workplace Inclusion and the Office of Issue Resolution. Prior to entering law school, Miller was a teacher, counselor, college administrator and worked with human resource issues. A 1986 graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, Miller received a Master’s Degree in 1977 from Southern Methodist University and a BA from Indiana University in 1970. Previously with the law firm of Leonard, Street and Deinard, Miller joined Medtronic in 1996. Recently named to the University of St. Thomas Law School Board of Governors, Miller has served as a board member of the Minnesota Technical and Community Colleges and The Children’s Theater Company, as well as a member of the Executive Leadership Council and Conference Board of Diversity Executives.
