Michelle M. Robinson is the Vice President of Marketing, PR & Internal Communications for WellStar Health System, one of the Southeast’s largest not-for-profit health systems and the fifth most integrated healthcare delivery system in the country. In addition to overseeing WellStar’s brand and serving as the System’s spokesperson, Michelle manages WellStar’s 956-STAR Call Center and Corporate & Community Health.

Michelle was instrumental in the creation of WellStar’s internal communications and online marketing departments, which have produced award-winning projects. WellStar’s new website – wellstar.org – was launched in 2012.

Michelle began her career at WellStar 23 years ago as the marketing & public relations director for WellStar Paulding Hospital, one of five hospitals within the System. Previously, she worked at Lewis Communications, a firm specializing in media relations.

She is an active community leader in Paulding County and has served as the public relations chair for three Paulding County Board of Education referendums. She currently is the chair for the North Paulding High School Advisory Council and is serving on the school board’s strategic planning task force. She is a graduate of both Leadership Paulding and Leadership Douglas.

Michelle also has been the marketing & public relations chair for several not-for-profit organizations including the American Heart Association and has provided media relations training for local colleges, school systems and government agencies.

Michelle received her bachelor’s degree in corporate communications from Mercer University in Atlanta. Michelle and her husband, Quinton, have two teenagers and reside in Acworth, Georgia.
