As senior vice president and Global Staffing executive for Bank of America, Michael Sherman leads a team of approximately 850 employees in 17 countries and is responsible for all hiring-related activity. Sherman partners with executives across the enterprise to drive a diversity-focused recruitment strategy. He is an executive sponsor of Bank of America's LEAD for Women Boston chapter, an employee resource group dedicated to women's professional development.

Sherman has been with Bank of America since 2005. Prior to his current role, he served as the Staffing executive for several lines of business. Before joining the bank, Sherman spent seven years with EMC Corporation, where he held a number of roles, including responsibility for staffing all customer-facing positions across North America.

Sherman holds a bachelors degree in political science and history from Emory University. He volunteers with the YMCA of Needham, Mass., where he lives with his wife and two children.
