Michael Montelongo is Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for Sodexo, Inc. and a member of the executive committee. His current role as chief administrative officer is a platform to drive increased growth, brand awareness, cross-disciplinary synergies, and tighter enterprise alignment. He has extensive senior management experience in the national security community, including service in the Senate and the Pentagon, and the telecommunications and professional services industries. Throughout his career he has been involved in and recognized for leading change in large organizations. Previously, Mr. Montelongo was appointed by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the U.S. Senate as assistant secretary of the Air Force where he served as its chief financial officer responsible for managing a budget of over $120 billion and financing two major combat operations. He concluded his tenure at the Pentagon as acting secretary of the Air Force.
