Maryella Gockel is one of Ernst & Young’s Inclusiveness Consultants. She also has a deep subject matter expertise in flexibility. Maryella’s role as an inclusiveness consultant includes working with Ernst & Young’s Americas Inclusiveness Center of Expertise and Business Unit Leaders to create a flexible and inclusive workplace in local offices across the Americas. The Inclusiveness Team is committed to providing E&Y people with the opportunities and tools they need to succeed both personally and professionally. Maryella joined Ernst & Young in 1980 as a client service professional in the New York office after completing her M.B.A. in accounting from Rutgers Graduate School of Management. She also completed her CPA certificate during that time. She split her time between serving clients and Human Resources for many years before transitioning to a full-time HR professional.
