Marsha Ellis Jones is the senior vice president and chief diversity officer of PNC Financial Services Group. In this role, Jones leads the development and implementation of strategies and programs that help further build and sustain a talented, diverse work force and a culture of inclusion. Jones joined PNC after a distinguished career of more than 25 years at Merrill Lynch. The sales management executive positions that she has held have each marked a milestone for African American women in the financial services industry. Jones is the recipient of the Harlem YMCA Black Achievers in Industry Award, the Professional Excellence in Financial Services Award from the New Jersey Fund for Women, and the Trailblazer for Women Award from the Dress for Success Foundation. Jones has been named one of the 25 Influential Black Women in Business by the Network Journal. Jones holds a Bachelor of Arts from Lehman College and a Master of Arts from Columbia University.
