Maria C. Lin is the Program Director of Human Resources at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, a 824-bed academic medical center located in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Lin joined Northwestern Memorial ten years ago in operations management and then in human resource management. In her current role, she is responsible for workforce strategic planning, external workforce initiatives in building the talent pipeline, the organization’s childcare strategy and employee recognition strategy. Before joining Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Ms. Lin worked at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. Ms. Lin received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health.
