Louise M. Guido is the CEO of the Foundation for Social Change – a 501(c)3 social enterprise which helps corporations understand the business value to solving social and environmental problems. The Foundation educates businesses that by developing new products and services to benefit society the results will have a direct impact on their bottom line. The Foundation facilitates the development of innovation, product development and entrepreneurship.

The Foundation has created the eLife –  Economic Opportunity for Women & Girls education program teaching life and business skills. This curriculum provides disadvantaged young girls in school, women in the workplace and women entrepreneurs in developing countries the opportunity to realize economic empowerment and financial independence through a 12-week education program. The program focuses on supporting poverty stricken areas in developing countries, such as Colombia, Brazil, Kashmir, Pakistan, Indonesia as well as inner cities within the United States.

The Foundation, in cooperation with the United Nations Office for Partnerships, each year hosts the Global Conference for Social Change: Turn Social Responsibility Into Action honoring the world’s top Leaders of Change – those individuals and organizations who – through their efforts – have impacted the world and changed lives.

Prior to launching the Foundation, Ms. Guido founded a successful international publishing company called, Living Abroad. As a guidebook for expatriate executives, Living Abroad, features day-to-day living details for 185 countries including the culture, housing, education, taxes, insurance, etc. Over 100 companies subscribe to Living Abroad’s Web service: www.livingabroad.com.
