Linda Jimenez currently serves as Chief Diversity Officer and Staff Vice President – Diversity & Inclusion for WellPoint, Inc. In this role, she directs all aspects of WellPoint’s diversity management strategies and programs nationwide including but not limited to providing strategic guidance around talent management and acquisition, multicultural marketing, diversity metrics, community relations and social responsibility and external branding as a national leader in diversity management and philanthropy and the reinforcement of WellPoint’s culture of distinction brand. Ms. Jimenez is a native of San Antonio, Texas and attended the University of Texas @ Austin where she received her BA (with honors) and the University Of Texas School Of Law with a specialty in labor and employment law. Ms. Jimenez was recently recognized with the 2009 NELI Eagle Award – one of corporate America’s highest accolades in executive leadership achievement. Ms. Jimenez also serves as a regulator contributor under the “In My Perspective” column for Profiles in Diversity Journal.
