Linda Anderson, Ph.D.
Dr. Linda Anderson is an academician, clinician and consulting psychologist. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Columbia University. She has served as a staff psychologist in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Beth Israel Medical Center and has taught at Teachers College, Columbia University. Dr. Anderson is currently a Chairperson and Professor at Hostos Community College, City University of New York. She recently held the position of Visiting Professor and Counselor at Bard College at Simon’s Rock, the only residential college for young scholars in Great Barrington, Ma. She has appeared in numerous media outlets and writes about a diverse range of mental health topics that include work life balance among professional women as well as the psychology of success especially concerning women and people of color. She consults with individuals and organizations that include The Dalton School in Manhattan and is currently in private practice in Manhattan.
