Lewis Steverson, 48, is senior vice president and general counsel of Motorola Solutions, Inc., where he manages Motorola Solutions’ law department. He also is secretary to MSI’s board of directors and manages the Office of Ethics and Compliance.

Previously, Steverson held numerous positions of increasing responsibility at Motorola, Inc. starting in 1995. Prior to joining Motorola, Steverson was in private practice at the law firm of Arnold & Porter in Denver, CO, and Washington, DC.

A native of western New York, Steverson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Siena College and a law degree from Harvard Law School. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar, Colorado State Bar, the American Society of Corporate Secretaries, the Executive Club of Chicago and the North Shore General Counsel’s Association. He also serves on the boards of directors for the Big Shoulders Fund and the Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital.
