Leslie Lesner is Vice President of Human Resources for Valassis, a $2.2 billion media and marketing services company that delivers value to consumers how, when and where they want through the consumer brand, RedPlum™. Leslie leads the HR generalists as well as the talent management, training and development, compensation, and employee relations specialists. Under her leadership HR has played a significant role in the focus on culture, one of five company goals. This focus has led to improved associate opinion scores, recognition from external organizations, and strong business results. The Valassis culture is one of camaraderie, celebration, and a commitment to rewarding and recognizing associate contributions. Leslie holds a Master of Science in Counseling and Personnel Services and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She is also a Certified Compensation Professional and a Certified Benefits Professional. Together with her husband and two sons, Leslie lives in Suffield, CT.
