Lauren Scott is a Diversity and Inclusion Consultant for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC). She provides direct oversight to all seven of the company's Employee Resource Groups.  In this role she is the advisor to 30 ERG officers and manages the strategic direction of the program, in which 40% of all employees participate.  In the last year, Lauren has been instrumental in communicating the value of BCBSNC’s ERGs and engaging leaders to participate in the program.  Prior to her role in diversity, she was a recruiter handling on-campus recruiting and high-volume recruiting within BCBSNC.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in HR Development through Villanova University.  Outside of the office, she is a mentor-advocate for a middle school student through, Blue-Ribbon Mentor Advocacy program.
