Lakenia Boone has been employed by WellStar Health System for 11 years, and currently holds the position of Career Development Coordinator in Organizational Learning. In this role she is responsible for providing career development programs for the 13,000 employees of the WellStar Healthcare System.

She received her undergraduate degree in Human Resources Training and Development from Mercer University. Currently she is preparing to pursue a Master’s in Business and Public Administration from Kennesaw State University.  She has a strong passion to train, guide and develop individuals as they plan their career paths.

She is an active member of the American Society for Training and Development, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the National Career Development Association.
