As senior manager, Kristine Korva is the absolute “go to” expert for human capital management within the Intelligence Community (IC) for Deloitte Consulting LLC’s Federal Practice, and possesses firm command over the organizational structure – including key players – within the IC clients she represents. Korva directs all aspects of account strategy, contracting, project & program management, client relationship management, business development, financial management, people development and project staffing.
A noted innovator, Korva has worked with clients to reengineer their HR service delivery model to improve efficiency, effectiveness, customer service and advances in technology. She has also redesigned core human capital business processes including personnel action processing, recruiting, awards management and new employee orientation to improve effectiveness, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Additional contributions include development and implementation of an HR customer service center to improve the customer experience and improve resolution of customer inquiries, and reengineering the agency’s career families, position descriptions and management processes to prepare for the transition to a pay for performance culture.
Prior to her arrival at Deloitte, Korva served as director of the MBA Career Center at American University’s Kogod School of Business, where she founded the Washington, D.C. Business School Coalition, a group of elite business school programs that work together to attract employers to the Mid-Atlantic region. She is also founder of MBA Career Quest, the largest MBA career fair in the Mid-Atlantic region. Korva is also credited with creating the Kogod Recruiter Advisory Board, and improving the school’s BusinessWeek rankings.
She holds a Master of Science in Organizational Development and Strategic Human Resources from Johns Hopkins University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from The Catholic University of America.
