Kristin Kunz
Kristin Kunz, Manager, Workforce and Employee Programs, joined University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in 2005. Kunz has more than a decade of Human Resources experience through a wide variety of roles within the health care industry. Kunz’s expertise includes employee communication; building an employment brand; workforce planning; human resource and financial metrics; surveying employees; recruitment and retention strategies; coaching and mentoring interns and minority youth interested in health care careers; improving employee engagement; and developing and implementing wellness, recognition and worklife programs and strategies.
Kunz’s strategic outlook has been instrumental in University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics and UW Health, which also includes University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation and University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, receiving numerous national awards.
Kunz holds an undergraduate degree in business from University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from the George Washington University. In addition to her career in health care, Kunz holds a variety of volunteer leadership positions in a number of community organizations.
