Executive Vice President, DHR International

Kitty Vorisek opened the DHR International Beijing’s office in 2010 to provide executive search capability. With her performance in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, she also launched the nonprofit practice for DHR International in Asia Pacific.

She has a track record in financial services, working for twenty-five years in China, Hungary, Netherlands, Germany and the United States. Using her in-depth knowledge of diverse markets gained through her work with state-owned institutions and multi-national corporations, she has developed strategies and tactics that have resulted in substantial increases in revenue and client satisfaction. Working with union and non union organizations, she expanded retail distribution through branches, call centers and internet while integrating functional support teams.     

Working in a variety of markets, Kitty has introduced unique methods for talent development, diversity and retention of local talent; resulting in initiatives that enhanced business performance.

As Business Manager at JP Morgan, China, she worked on the strategic plan and business foundation as well as corporate social responsibility models that supported the brand. She implemented issue-driven programs with schools and nonprofit organizations.  In adherence to the Chinese government’s priorities, she developed and executed programs with a provincial education bureau that introduced new teaching methods for rural teachers. Kitty then replicated the model for use with migrant school teachers.

Kitty has consulted on projects for the WHO - Healthy Cities China pilot, World Bank, Working Mother Media and Diversity Best Practices, Stanford ValuEd and Duke University for DukeEngage.

Kitty received the “Exemplary Contributor to Promoting International Education Award.” She was nominated for it by the International School of Beijing and presented the award by the European Council of International Schools. She serves as an advisor to the Dandelion Middle School and The Grace Children Foundation.

Kitty received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana and did her graduate work at Arizona State University, Tempe. 

She resides in Beijing with her husband and two children.
