Kim Hammonds is chief information officer of The Boeing Company. Hammonds is responsible for the IT strategy, operations, processes and more than 8,500 IT people of the world's largest aerospace company. She has responsibility for supporting the growth of Boeing's business by partnering with the business units on IT related revenue generating programs and oversees all aspects of information security across the global reach of the company.
Hammonds received an MBA from Western Michigan University and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan. Hammonds is a member of the Society of Woman Engineers and is a board member of TechAmerica Midwest. She also serves as a member of the Mayor Daley's Chicago's Technology Advisory Council and is a member of the Computer Science Advisory Board for the Illinois Institute of Technology. She is a member of the i.c.stars' Leadership Council (ILC) in Chicago.
