Kim Drumgo is the Chief Diversity Official (CDO) of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.  With nearly 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Kim is currently responsible for leading the company’s diversity efforts and providing ongoing enterprise focus on the value of diversity and inclusion.  Kim’s current scope of work includes addressing health disparities, supplier diversity, multicultural marketing, workforce flexibility and creating a culture of inclusion and cultural competence at BCBSNC. 

Kim holds a bachelor’s degree from UNC Chapel Hill in Public Health and a master’s in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.  Additionally, she is a board member of the Durham Community Health Coalition, Inc. which was established to address the disparities of health and care in the community of Durham, North Carolina.  She also sits on the National Advisory Planning Committee for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services.
