Kathy Hopinkah Hannan is the National Managing Partner for Diversity and Corporate Social Responsibility, focused on ethics, philanthropic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, environmental best practices, and diversity objectives linked to the firm’s commercial strategy and enterprise sustainability. Since admittance to the KPMG partnership and various leadership roles including appointment as Vice Chair, Human Resources, Kathy has been a change agent for people-related strategic decisions impacting recruiting, succession planning, career development, training, and benefits. Most notably, she established the Women’s Advisory Board and Diversity Advisory Board as counsel for Firm leadership on workplace matters and the KPMG Network of Women to drive local employee engagement. Kathy actively supports programs that help underserved communities and initiatives targeting workforce readiness, youth and education. She serves as a board member for Loras College, the Anti-Defamation League, the Adler Planetarium, Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation, the KPMG Foundation, and is on the Board of Advisors of Catalyst.
