Kathy D'Appolonia is Senior Vice President, Workplace Solutions for The PNC Financial Services Group. Kathy is responsible for PNC's wellness and work/life effectiveness. During her tenure, PNC has been named to the Working Mother 100 Best Companies List nine times. She is also responsible for employee volunteerism in PNC Grow Up Great, the company’s signature cause to strengthen early childhood education. In 2007, Kathy was named the Chris Kjeldsen Work Life Legacy Award winner by the Families and Work Institute. In 2002, Kathy was named among Pennsylvania's "50 Best Women in Business." She is also a member of Bright Horizons Family Solutions Client Advisory Board and the Corporate Voices for Working Families Board of Trustees. Prior to her work in the corporate setting, Kathy served on the faculties of Miami University (Ohio) and Duquesne University. She earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her B.A. in psychology from Skidmore College.
