Kathy Chen
Kathy Chen joined Cisco China in October 26th, 2009, taking the role of General Manager of Eastern China.
Kathy Chen leads the execution and development of overall business within Cisco’s East China region, including but not limited to market development and partnership strategy across government, scientific/educational institutes, small, medium, large enterprises. In particular, Kathy focuses on the business of public sector, maintaining good relationship and developing strategic cooperation with the local government bodies and its subsidiary functions.
Kathy Chen has rich experience in IT industry and management. Before she worked in Cisco, Kathy had been working as the General Manager of Microsoft Eastern and Central China for 5 years. Before that, she was the General Manager of CA Jin Chen Software Company from 1999 to December, 2004. From 1997 to 1999, Kathy transferred to Hong Kong as the GM of Channel Business Division of 3COM Asia Co., Ltd. During 1995 and 1997, Kathy was sales manager of Compaq (China) Co., Ltd. Prior to that, Kathy was sales in DEC (China) Co., Ltd for 2 years.
Kathy Chen was born in Shanghai, and obtained BS degree in Computer Science of North Jiaotong University.
