Katherine Terlesky, Ph.D. is a technology management professional with experience in a wide range of industries leading people to excellence in delivering technically innovative solutions. She is currently Vice President and Division Manager at SAIC managing the operations, technology innovation and growth of an organization that develops and integrates video exploitation and geospatial software solutions for military intelligence operations. She is a change leader with experience driving organizational change to meet evolving business needs and manages one of the few product-based Divisions at SAIC.
Dr. Terlesky received her Ph.D. in Anaerobic Microbiology from Virginia Tech and performed postdoctoral work in Plant Biology at The Ohio State University. She has over 13 publications in peer reviewed journals and two patents in molecular biology.
She has a penchant for multidisciplinary projects having worked as a scientist with civil engineers to develop biosensors for wastewater treatment systems, and mechanical engineers to develop biological aerosol sampling technology.
