Julie W. Dunai is Head of Environmental for Zurich North America Commercial, one of the largest underwriters of environmental insurance in the U.S. Zurich delivers environmental insurance solutions to all major industry groups. Ms. Dunai has over twenty years of experience in the insurance industry. She joined Zurich in 1997, establishing the product development practice within Zurich's Environmental area. Most recently, Ms. Dunai was Vice President of Product Development for Zurich's Commercial Markets business unit. Prior to Zurich, she held positions as an environmental liability underwriter and sales executive for a wholesale insurance broker. Prior to her employment in the insurance industry, Ms. Dunai was a soil scientist working on United States Department of Agriculture projects focused on soil mapping, conservation and urban development. Ms. Dunai holds a degree in geology and soil science from Western Illinois University.
