Jeffrey Meaney serves as head of the Corporate Services division at TIAA-CREF, and oversees Corporate Security, Business Continuity, Property Management, Construction, Strategic Sourcing and Corporate Travel for the company’s 7000+ employees and its hundred locations across the United States.
Jeff joined TIAA-CREF in 2005 from Morgan Stanley, where he was Managing Director, Global Head of Corporate Security and oversaw Business Continuity Planning. He previously served as Executive Director, Head of Property Management and Transportation Services for the Americas.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Jeff spent eleven years at the Durst Organization, a large New-York based property management firm, where he was vice president of Corporate Security and Property Management. Jeff started his career in security at Amtrak in New York City, where he was a police officer for three years after graduating first in his class from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
Jeff has done extensive volunteer work with organizations that support people with autism and children’s charities. He currently serves on the board of directors of the AABR, an organization that runs a school for autistic children, work programs and group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. He also serves on the board of the Torch Foundation.
Jeff holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BA in Business Management from Adelphi University.
He resides on Long Island and is married to Joan Mazzu with four daughters Nicole, Abigail, Jenna, Julia and his Autistic son Matthew.
