Janice Bultema joined University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in 2003. Under her leadership, Human Resources implemented a strategic plan and established an Academy to attract, develop, engage and retain an excellent workforce. Their best practices were recognized in 2007 by Modern Healthcare and the American Society of Healthcare Human Resources Administration. The organization was recognized on the Working Mother 100 Best Companies to Work For list for three consecutive years.
Bultema received her MSN in nursing services administration from Duke University, BSN from University of North Carolina-Greensboro and diploma from Mercy Central School of Nursing. She is a published author and frequent presenter on topics ranging from leadership to human resource management. She serves as a trustee on the Madison Area Technical College District Board and Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin.
