Associate Professor, State University of Londrina-UEL, active in the graduate program in Computer Science at Research Line "Modeling and Simulation" and in undergraduate computer science.

Jandira completed her PhD in 2001 and her MA in 1995 in Mechanical Engineering by EESC / USP Lab Simulation and is graduated in Computer Science (1992) by UNESP Bauru-SP.   Develops research, extension and teaching in the Department of Computing at UEL, the University Enterprise Integration in Local Productive Arrangement IT Londrina and region, and Guenka Software Development.

She founded the company Guenka within the INTUEL, University Incubator.  The company was born from the desire to put into practice the subject of her doctoral thesis, while attending graduate school in San Carlos and attending the Center for Advanced Manufacturing (NUMA).  She has published book chapters, numerous articles in journals and conference presentations.  Jandira coordinates / has coordinated over 10 projects supported by research funding agencies such as FINEP, CNPQ, and Araucaria Foundation.  The projects in the vast majority were carried out in partnerships with businesses, involving more than 20 companies from micro to multinational.  

Jandira’s main research focus is in Computer Science Applied to Industry.  The themes are varied in her research: Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Software Engineering, Testing and Validation, Production Management, Virtual Manufacturing, Information Systems, Modeling and Simulation, Petri Nets, Virtual Reality and Virtual Environments, and Embedded Systems for the automotive industry.  Jandira has been an active member of the Board of Local Productive Arrangement of Londrina and region (APL-IT), since its inception in 2006
