Jack Welsh is responsible for Booz Allen’s client engagements serving the U.S. Government Classified (USGC) markets. In this role, he is responsible for technical leadership, cross-program integration, capability leverage, staffing and staff development, business management, and business development activities within his business area as well as within the broader national security markets. Prior to his current role, Mr. Welsh was responsible for market leadership serving the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA), which he served for more than 25 years, and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), leading Booz Allen‘s Space and Ground Systems business.
Mr. Welsh serves on Booz Allen’s leadership team for the systems engineering and integration (SE&I) capability Center of Excellence.His key areas of expertise are Systems Engineering & Integration, Information Technology Strategy, Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance and Mission Integration.
Before joining Booz Allen in 1983, Mr. Welsh worked as a computer scientist for the Central Intelligence Agency where he served as the lead systems engineer on a major film mensuration development and enhancement project. Mr. Welsh also served as a lecturer at Northern Virginia Community College, where he taught technology-related subjects.
Mr. Welsh serves as a partner advisor to the Booz Allen chapter for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) as well as to the broader Women’s Agenda. He is currently Booz Allen’s representative to the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Corporate Advisory Board (CAB), and serves on the INCOSE CAB leadership team. He is curently on the Advisory Board to the College of Engineering at the University of Delaware. He holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Delaware and an M.S. degree in Information Systems Technology from the George Washington University.
